How are you connecting your client to the AS/400 (EHNAPPC or WINSOCK)?

We have been live with BPCS 6.0.02 (MM) since Dec 1, 1997 using the WINSOCK
connection with few connectivity problems.

I take it you have a network setup of some type, and not using SNA protocol
anymore. (at least I hope so)

The netsoft router supplied with client access crashes BPCS client server
(at least that is what I have experienced). If you have not installed the
WINSOCK BMR (I do not remember the BMR number) I would, it runs so much
better than using APPC.

Sincerely,

Chris Ertz

Subject: GUI Order Entry COntinually "Locking-up"

I'm running 6.0.2 Mixed Mode on the AS/400 (V4R4). My order takers are
continually "locking up" inside the Supply Chain User Interface. These PCs
are running Windows '95 and have 64MB of RAM. The majority of the time this
happens during the input of an order as they are in the "Item Lookup"
function. Can someone share a bit of wisdom that may help me through this
problem?
Thanks-
