Does anyone have an idea why in the world V. 6.1 would require a dedicated system and many times more capacity just run BOM900? Version 6.1 has no architectural changes. If this is true, it should be logged as a performance issue BMR. By the way, I have never seen the need to run BOM900 as frequently as the other re-org programs, such as (ORD990, SYS990, etc.), which are good to do on a daily basis.
