BPCS running via Internet connection -- BPCS-L

AS400  version 6.02 Mixmod

Is anyone running their full blown BPCS application via an Internet
connection verses the investment in a T1 or Frame Relay connection.  I'm
looking at a remote facility with an ISDN line to a local Internet Service
Provider and accessing the AS400 connection via the Internet running all
aspects of the BPCS system.  I'm curious about performance and speed via
the Net.  I don't see this being a problem but was curious if anyone is
doing this.

If so, any drawbacks, etc.
