Good afternoon. If you are only giving the new users access to individual programs and not the entire module then they will not get access to the menus. If this is your situation then you can give them access to the entire module, update the profile, and then remove access to the module. This will load the necessary information in the system files to give them "visual" access to the menus with the options they are authorized to use. Good Luck. -----Original Message----- From: oludare [mailto:oludare@ix.netcom.com] Sent: Thursday, September 30, 1999 11:33 AM To: Beepics BPCS Usergroup Cc: Peter Smolens Subject: No menu options for BPCS users Hi Guys: I have a strange situation with BPCS 6.00.02. I have created 2 new users for BPCS environment by copying from a current BPCS user. These 2 new users have the same access and authority with current user but the 2 users do not get menu options when they sign into BPCS. They get to BPCS menu options by typing the application codes like MDM, SFC etc. Anyone have any idea as to why they are not getting the same menu option as the user they were copied from or is there a file that controls the initial menu for each user. Help is needed before I recreate these profiles all over on my V3R7M0 OS400 and BPCS 6.00.02 Jan Cum.
