Press releases are allowed and encouraged, as long as they don't exceed the generally accepted norms of shameless self promotion, because they are of general interest to the BPCS community at large. This is a perfect example: I've been wondering what happened to that guy for years, but don't really give a rip about most of the Y2K solutions that have been previously touted. While there may have been more people interested in the Y2K announcements, at least one of us found value in this one. Other issues are addressed off line...
