It is common practice for billing to be run overnight when users cannot access the system, often as part of a daily schedule submitted by Robot or some other automatic scheduling tool. That solved the problem, except when some people do not pay attention. There was a rush customer order after the shipping crew had gone home, and the customer service people's shipment went into a black hole ... they were half way thru when their work was sucked up by the invoicing ... they had neglected to tell billing that there was a need to interupt billing for their emergency. We're on BPCS 405 CD mixed mode ... PTF-1 without the Y2K repairs done yet Al +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +--- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
