Peter,
we are using 4.05 CD but this process is the same in both releases.
When you Closed 1998 year,  file RCO must been changed automatically (
ccfscy = 99 ).
Then, before start posting 1999, you must open new periods for your company
(GLD105) .-
My recommendation is: check how is file GPM and RCO. Both of them are used
during gld posting.
