× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

what model HP?
approx. # of db connections?
approx. # of users?
approx. # of COM users?
using SMGs?
have dedicated batch queues for any processes?

I've also seen performance probs when system file from _stand settings are 
incorrect.  There are some settings in here that can be adjusted that 
sometimes make a BIG difference.  Send me a copy (devinbowen@aol.com) of your 
system file from _stand and I'll give you a few things you can try.
