Mark,

I get this on V6.x all the time, everywhere I go. Since you've checked the
common ECH.HINUSE, you can move on to the following:

1. Verify that BBH.BHWSID and BBL.BLWSID are blank. If they have a value in
them, the system thinks that someone has the records selected for billing at
another workstation. This is the most common problem.

2. Look for ECHW/ECLW records. If they exist the system may think the order
is in use.

3. If it is a base order class five, check for LLL, LLH, and LLM records
that are orphaned or in a condition that doesn't allow shipping.

4. Verify that BBH.BHID and BBL.BLID are not Z'd out.

If the problems are chronic, it's simple to write a little report that tests
for all these conditions and tells the billing clerk what is wrong.

. Dear all
.
. Has anybody come across the following before. We have a number
. of sales order lines showing ready for
. invoice as the status. When going into billing select (BIL500)
. BPCS will not select these orders. The orders
. are not flagged as in use on ECL / ECH. The orders have records
. on both BBH & BBL.
