ECL "Last Maintenance Date" CLMNDT

Is that changed when, and only when, someone uses ORD500 to maintain customer
requirements?

I am hoping to use date duration of that field vs. today date to calculate how
long some requirements have been firm, and want to make sure it isn't changed
by other activities, such as shipping, billing returns.

The business requirement is that we are a job shop with some customers rapidly
changing their specifications & sometimes plant management likes to know how
recently what they are working on has been changed.
