  • Subject: Conversion to 4.05 CD

We are about to upgrade from BPCS 3.0 to 4.05CD, and are trying to find out
what we're in for.

We've had little success in getting answers from SSA, though, so I hoped
that someone might read this who has been through the 4.05CD conversion, and
be willing to share how it went.

Two things that we really need to know are:
[1] Is there AS/SET in 4.05CD? (We are only using BOM, shop floor
control, purchasing,
inventory, ledger, payables, and cost accounting modules.)
[2] Is data conversion something we can do ourselves by following the
instructions,
or does it require days of SSA consultants' time? (None of us have
much BPCS
        experience.)

Any answers or advice or experiences that you could pass along would surely
be appreciated.

Many thanks,
Susan Sawyer
