  • Subject: Updating IIM with Cost Summary Data
  • From: Paul <kdcma@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Dear BPCS List users:

Anyone know when/what updates the IIM file with the item's standard cost
and actual cost? I'm assuming it is the cost roll up program for the
standard and the CST900 for the Actual but I was hoping someone might
know without me having to research it.

The problem I've noticed is that the Std Cost Total field on screen 2
in INV100 (Item Master Maintenance) is not matching the CMF file while
the Actual Cost does match the CMF. The Std Cost Total field seems to
have only the material portion of the item's cost.

I'm using V4.05CD (but this probably applies to most any version of
BPCS) and we're running shop floor control and costing by facility.

Anyone have an idea why this std. cost field is wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Paul LaFlamme
