I have to agree with Walter here.  The problem can be AS/400-specific, not
just BPCS-specific.  Have any of you folks with sturdy (but non-compliant)
applications taking advantage of the DATE type variable requiring a valid date
that uses 9/9/99 as the default upper limit for report delimiting consider
what will happen when your data exceeds September ninth of this year?  I once
managed IS at a manufacturing company that used purchased components in their
products with a 24-month lead time -- wonder if they're compliant yet, when I
left 9/9/99 was the default for unscheduled orders that fell outside the
current planning fence.

For many folks, the time is _already_ past...
