Title: RE: BPCS Financial Reports
We have used ShowCase's Query and Reportwriter.  The first reason we like it is that is contains a security for librarys, files, fields, and records.  Any object can be aliased to user based terms (ie BPCS Master Files not V602BPCSF).  The Query product is integrated into MS Excel or Lotus 1-2-3.  Query can be used alone or with other Windows products like Excel.  Reportwriter is a full WYSIWYG report creation tool.

ShowCase's Strategy Suite (which includes Query & Reportwriter) can be expanded to a fully function multi-dimensional datawarehouse on the AS/400.

These tools can be used to create all types of reports, not just Financial.  We have used the Strategy products since 1995.

We are currently running BPCS 6.004 full CS on a AS/400 and we are having problems getting timely financial data from BPCS.   We have tried to use Uservision for financial reporting and find the performance unacceptable.  Just wondering what tools others are using to do BPCS financial reporting.
