I might be able to help some. We have plant in Taiwan and have them using Traditional Chinese.
We use BPCS 405 CD.
In essential what we run is Single Byte English BPCS with some screens that allow double byte entry - Open fields.
No change to the data base - it handles it perfect by itself.
All the BPCS print files will support Double Printing by changing on attribute on it IGCDTA(*YES). We did this to all of our print files. We print here in the states with remote outq. One thing bad about remote outq is that it does not like double byte characters. We handled this by setting up an 802.2 connection with a PC with ATC software that will emulate a 5555 print device (Double Byte Printer). It send the prints to a Novel Que and prints to the Laser printer that way.
I am very familiar on how to get an English BPCS and Chinese BPCS to work together.

I desperately need a contact for a BPCS 6.04 double byte environment. We
are trying to convert from 6.02 to 6.04. We modified AP checks and
purchase orders in 6.02. We are now having trouble getting the source.
Does anyone out there have the double byte source for ACP675O, PUR520O,
PUR551O, and ACP675B?
