To: BPCS-L Mailing List Re: Problems with FRW Downloads We recently upgraded to the March cum patch from the November cum patch of BPCS 6.02plf for HPUX/Oracle. Since we did the upgrade we are having problems with large FRW downloads. Choosing anything more than one period and one book in the selection criteria of the downloader takes at a minimum 2 hours to complete. Selecting an entire year and all books in the ledger takes over 8 hours. Has anyone out there experienced a similar issue with FRW downloads? Nick Smith PowerBar, Inc. AFAIK it is down to poor SQL programming(steps through all records in the files every time it selects the next SO to process). Rumour has it that SSA are aware and that someone is looking at it. Check to see if there are any new BMR's or PTF's for this program. -- Michael Ozanne (Also ozannem@pacific.co.uk) +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +--- ---------- Received: from KITTEN.MCS.com by pearl.fabrik.com with ESMTP (Fabrik F07.3-000) id SINN.4391677@pearl.fabrik.com ; Wed, 16 Sep 1998 07:48:22 -0700 Received: from uucphost.mcs.net (Uucp1.mcs.net [192.160.127.93]) by Kitten.mcs.com (8.8.7/8.8.2) with ESMTP id JAA23616; Wed, 16 Sep 1998 09:45:46 -0500 (CDT) Received: (from uucp@localhost) by uucphost.mcs.net (8.8.8/8.8.8) id JAA24781; Wed, 16 Sep 1998 09:45:45 -0500 (CDT) Received: (from majordom@localhost) by midrange.com (8.9.1/8.9.1) id JAA01115 for bpcs-l-outgoing; Wed, 16 Sep 1998 09:36:27 -0500 Message-ID: <Rtj9VgAME8$1EwVd@midori-no-ryu.demon.co.uk> Date: Wed, 16 Sep 1998 14:45:48 +0100 To: BPCS-L@midrange.com From: Michael Ozanne <mozanne@midori-no-ryu.demon.co.uk> Subject: Re: CST900 NEP Program (Almost) In-Reply-To: <8091bffc.35dc136c@aol.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Turnpike (32) Version 3.05 <rQvHaT1eq7QPADSYUwggBCDUzT> Sender: owner-bpcs-l@midrange.com Precedence: bulk Reply-To: BPCS-L@midrange.com X-List-Name: BPCS Users Mailing List (BPCS-L@midrange.com) ---------- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
