I don't know of a package off-hand.  I have found that IBM is most
useful in helping to find vendors and products.  They have books on this
but I have always phoned my IBM rep directly.

Personally, I would customize the code.  I don't know why you have a
reluctance to do this but it's the best way.  This does not seem like a
big deal.
