Yes there are, body and header. I tried it with SoapUI.
Unfortunately I can't share the URL. This is another restful web service my
colleague is working on which is hosted for other servers to connect to.
The restful I'm working on is an external one which I'm calling.

I couldn't find examples which is a GET / POST restful web service which
uses BASIC Authentication within its header.
Okay, maybe I didn't look hard enough. :-) But I thought since my colleague
is working on one in another project - I might as well call them.

Even though I got a 401 HTTP code back, the body saying that the invalid
username / password is returned within the JSON formatted response within
the body.

Is there a body to be retrieved? Or a better way to ask, when you invoke
the web service from another tool (i.e. curl) do you get a body? It might
be the headers are the only thing sent back. Can you share the URL?

Hi,

When I call HTTPPOSTCLOBVERBOSE and the result comes back is in a JSON
format. However, if it's HTTP 4xx or 5xx error, I can only get the header
data. The body returned is null.

Why is that?

I was hoping to retrieve the request_body also rather than just the
header
if there's an error.

Thanks.
