Hello Jeffrey,

Not sure if you're open to commercial options, but here goes.

Native IBMi Options
I believe Brad Stone has a purchased component you can buy to download files from a web site. (http://www.bvstools.com)

We have a native IBMi product for printing PDF documents to most any printer from the i.

Windows Options
An alternative option would be to use a Windows component such as our AutoMate product to script the download processing and printing.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

subject: [WEB400] Print PDF from URL with RPG

Hey good afternoon everyone!

Can anybody give me a step up here? I've been trying to get my head around how I can retrieve a PDF from a URL, and print it via an IBM i outq with RPG or CL.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so if someone has some sample code, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could share it.

Thanks,
Jeff
