Hmmmm. Who did you contact at Zend? I have been called MANY things in this forum and elsewhere. But "silent" is rarely one of them :-)

You basically have 2 avenues you can go down when looking to "talk to Zend" regarding IBM i - Me and the support line.

Have you opened a support ticket? Let's talk!

Zend Server is the direction we are patching today and I would strongly recommend you consider moving there if you have not already considered it.

Regards,

Mike

Ok, it appears that the confusion is the following text in the release notes...

# PHP Toolkit update - This release includes several key enhancements and bug fixes. Key improvements are:
- Fixed stored procedure result set bug
- Persistent connection improvement. A new I5_OPTIONS_PRIVATE_CONNECTION option in the i5_pconnect() function will allow you to run multiple browser requests using the same
System i job. In order to use the I5_OPTIONS_PRIVATE_CONNECTION connection option,
make sure to update the Toolkit's server modules. Please contact Zend Support (support@xxxxxxxx) for the Toolkit modules' download location.

Specifically, the "contact Zend Support for the Toolkit modules' download location."

Apparently we have 2.6.7 loaded, yet we are still experiencing issues with persistent connections not reusing the job.

Does anyone know if the Zend Core download contains the fix I quoted above?

Apparently we have tried contacting Zend. They appear to be slient on the answer for some reason :(

Thanks,

Crispin.

Can anyone provide me with a link for the Zend Core 2.6.7 update for IBM i?

I know it's been deprecated, and we are addressing that. I just want to get a link for the latest Zend Core for i version. The latest link I can find on Zend's website is 2.6.1.

Thanks,

Crispin.
