I'd like to thank David for pointing this out.

We have just added the translator to our external web page (which we do not host).

My thinking is if a foreign speaker happens across our web page, it shows we have made a small effort to accommodate him/her. They click the translate button and get some idea of what we are offering in their native language. Plus, google analytics will track this as well and we can see if it's making any difference or not.

I don't expect much, and I am not particularly trying to sell to foreign language speakers (our product is steel pipe and shipping is a large part of the cost). I don't want to pay for high quality translations, but this is pretty simple to do and may be good enough.

I'll post back if traffic/orders/whatever increases because of this.

If anyone is fluent in another language and wants to check it out and let me know how good or bad it is, our site is:
