Unfortunately the version of MySQL currently included in the Zend install package is not the right level for the DB2 storage engine. It is fine if you just want to use MySQL but _not_ if you want the DB engine as the OP requested.

Scott is right - MySQL is free and the article in News covers the install process etc.
