Over one hurdle, and into mout of another....

When attempting to insert
http://ws.cdyne.com/WeatherWS/Weather.asmx?wsdl as an existing web
service into a java server page
the following error occured: IWAB0639E Error generating Java files and
deployment descriptors from WSDL file.

Details:

IWAB0639E Error in generating Java files and deployment descritpors
from WSDL file
preExecute() network/invalid XML
WSWS3574E: ---------- FATAL ERRORS ENCOUNTERED ----------
GENERATION OF ARTIFACTS HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.
See messages to follow for more details. WSWS3452E: Internal Error:
Attempted to generate code without first parsing WSDL file.
preExecute() network/invalid XML

Testing the web service in the web service explorer proved successul.
Also, I just updated all of the software with the IBM Installation
manager. At least the above message is pretty descriptive.

Has any else encounter this message?

Thanks,
Erick

Hi Erick, did you install the WAS 6.0 or 6.1 when you installed RDI SOA?
If not, you need to go in the Installation Manager first , click modify
and then select this feature under Rational Business Developer 7.1 -->
WebSphere Application development .
Then it will be installed , that should make the app server available to
use in the workbench.
