Funny, I though Easy/400 was a trademark of Simtech Solutions.

Would a written "open source" license, published on an
IBM Web site mean anything in the eyes of IBM?

If IBM were to "officially" release CGIDEV2 under an
"open source" license, it would be a great coup for
Giovanni.

And, what about the "Easy400" brand name, which is
used extensively at IBM's Web site, but which Giovanni
holds a domain name for, and is using at Yahoo Groups,
and his new Web site?

Would the folks at IBM CTC want to promote the Easy400
brand and continue supporting it as a product? Would
they consent to a transfer of ownership? Or, would
they prefer to see it die?

Nathan.
