So you're turning down my offer to do a quick load test?
Just think of the information we could provide and
prove/disprove the developer's statements.  We have the
opportunity, so let's do it.  All I need is a URI to hit
while you're running the new pbA.  And another running
Classic with the same CGI program.  should take more than 30
minutes to test.
