Hi Kerwin

You can use regular expressions for this - I clicked on the regular expressions radio button and entered this search string - [ ']this[ '] and got returned source with *'This *plus a blank and the word *this *with blanks on each side.

Now if you need to have matching blanks or quotes, use 2 search items - [ ]binary[ ]  and [']binary['] and click on the option to have any of the following.

Yes installed.
If you type in binary and hit search you will get things like fieldbinary
and binaryfield. I only want binary if it is enclosed in quotes or is a
word i.e. has spaces before and after.

Have iSphere installed? That's your solution.

I know this can be done but I am drawing a blank.
I want to search for the word BINARY. ignore the case.
I only want to find it if it has a space before and after it. Or if
inclosed in tics or quotes.
