So you set the SEP and run the SP, but RDi does nothing, correct?

Considering what you've already tried, are you sure the SEP is set against the correct object? For example, with external SPs if you recompile the ILE it's possible that the SP follows the now replaced object. In iACS Schemas, the procedure will show a Q-name for the object under the Program column.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Stored procedure SEP not stopping...

Hi all,

I am on V7R3 and RDi 9.6.0.6

I have debugged stored procedures many times in the past but today when I set the SEP and call the stored procedure the external program doesn't stop (in the past it always stopped at the top of the program allowing me to add breakpoints if desired). Today the sp just runs to completion.

I have ended the debug server, restarted RDi with -clean, cleared the IBM i cache and still the program doesn't stop.

Is there anywhere else I can check?

Thanks,

Rob
