My spooled file issue is on a temporary system, one of dozens, spun up on a
power7 rack somewhere and it's old and not worth updating, but now I know
it's because I'm missing RDi support there, and how to check in the future.

Well damn, look at all that great info we could get if we only knew it was
there! Not sure what any of those options have to do with "QShells" (or
what a QShell actually is) but I'm glad the options exist. Turns out I am
missing a couple of PTFs on this one system. Thanks for the tip!

Stuart, the RDi VERIFY CONNECTION and REMOTE SERVERS options are not
exclusive to the QShells subsystem.

Right-click _any_ of the Connection Subsystems, (OBJECTS, COMMANDS, JOBS,
IFS, etc.) and you'll find both options in the context menu. The VERIFY
CONNECTION should be run after every RDi upgrade or fixpack install to
ensure the server PTF levels are up to date with RDi.

Hope your spooled files problem is solved!

Brian.
