[WDSCI-L] RDi license-Desktop & laptop

I run RDi 9.5 on my desktop PC. I recently discovered my laptop
would also run RDi. I need to find out if my license allows that.
I seem to recall there are different kinds of RDi licenses. How do
I determine which license I have?

This is just a hopefully helpful guess. (We've never considered the
floating license. In general it's significantly more expensive, but there
are cases where it might make sense.)

I believe you can:
- Launch Installation Manager;
- Click on the 'Manage Licenses' icon;
- Then select 'RPG and COBOL tools'.

On the bottom, there's an radio button to 'Configure Floating License
Support'. If that's not selected, my guess is you've got a named user
license.

Again, this is just my guess. I hope it helps. (Maybe an IBMer with a more
precise knowledge will chime in.)
