I was just looking at PDTExtensions for Eclipse last night, and it has integrated Phing support. Phing is a build tool for PHP like ant for Java. I suspect you could create a build and deploy script to automate that process. Unfortunately they haven't tested earlier than Mars, and RDi is built on Luna. Still, the website says it might work. http://p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org/

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Using RDi for PHP Development

Hey all,

Is anyone currently using RDi to develop PHP code for Zend server? We're currently using it here and the programmer came to me and asked if there's an automated way to move the PHP pages from our development box to the production box? Right now he's just manually copying the files over from one box to the other, but it would be nice if there was a "deploy" button that would automate this process.

We've tried using the Zend Studio but he prefers RDi as it's more stable and he's able to flip between RPG and PHP projects with ease.

Thankee-sai!

/b;
