Greg

Yes there is - there is a predefined action called pasteOverlay.

I don't have RDi to hand ( on my phone ) but I think it's User Key actions.
Just choose action pasteOverlay and assign your shortcut key ( I think I
used a-v for Alt+v )

Craig

Is there an EASY way to copy text and "paste-overlay" in a RPGLE source
member?

I've went back to a discussion I started over a year ago. Now I need to
do this again. In the amount of time I have wasted attempting to do this,
I could have just re-typed the 42 lines of data.

I tried copying from Excel, Notepad, even a text file in RSE, then pasting
using ALT-Z.

I'm sorry, but simply copy and paste should not be this difficult. :(
