I have a sporatic problem where my Aldon LMi filters are lost. We have yet

There has been recent discussion about scripting Rdi. So if I wanted to do
File/Export when I end RDi (or even better yet when I add a new LMi filter)
is this something I would do through scripting?

As the one who really misses scripting, I feel compelled to answer
this. Discussions of scripting in Eclipse are theoretical as of this
post. There is no Eclipse scripter. On the other hand, it might be
possible to write a plug-in that extends Aldon's, but you probably
know that this is quite a lot to learn. Completely unresearched, but
it might be possible to hook in to the Eclipse termination routines.
I don't know how to do that; it may be impossible.

Or is there another way of achieving this?

You might be able to use a Windows script tool like Auto Hot Key.
You'd have to capture all the ways you normally close RDi, and then
fire your AHK script that emulates pressing the right buttons to
perform the Aldon Export and Import.

Best is to keep on Aldon to fix their plug-in. That will tell them
there's demand for a quality RDi plugin and may give their development
team the firepower they need to fund their efforts better,
