Hi All, I've noticed several mentions of Workspace Mechanic on this list.

Can anyone share a sample of their configuration file (.epf) I can use
as a template?

I'm with Ken - turn on the recorder and let Mechanic do the work for
you. Right click the green checkmark in the lower right to start and
stop the recorder. Use Preferences to figure out where you want to
store the .epf files.

Like Ken, I have more than one file. I basically have one for each
preference I want to be remembered. For example, here is
rpgCloseControlBlock. I happen to like all lower case...

# @title rpgCloseControlBlock
# @description RPG style for close control block
# @task_type LASTMOD
#
# Created by the Workspace Mechanic Preference Recorder
#Fri May 23 14:09:18 EDT 2014
file_export_version=3.0
/instance/com.ibm.etools.iseries.edit/com.ibm.etools.iseries.edit.preferences.parser.ilerpg.enter.autoclosecontrol.autoclosecontrolvalue=endxx

...and one to set the defaults for findText:

# @title findText defaults
# @description findText defaults
# @task_type LASTMOD
#
# Created by the Workspace Mechanic Preference Recorder
#Tue Jun 10 14:25:07 EDT 2014
/instance/com.ibm.lpex/default.findText.incremental=off
file_export_version=3.0
/instance/com.ibm.lpex/default.findText.mark=on
/instance/com.ibm.lpex/default.findText.emphasis=off

Hope this helps.
