Go into Preferences-->LPEX Editor-->Controls and remove the check mark
next to Message Line. That will remove the line between the editor and
command line. There are other things on this list that can be unchecked
to gain more real estate in the editor.

I'm really not interested in changing from my preferred font, Consolas,
or changing to a larger monitor. The upgrade to RDi cost me a half-inch
of real estate at the bottom of the screen, which translates to three
lines of code. Is there a reason that the bottom section of the screen
doesn't pull down as far as the previous version? Changing the theme has
no effect on the number of lines displayed.
