That is what I noticed as well.
I think it is in the process of saving and until the file is complete
saved, you don't want to be compiling the wrong version.
In order to prevent corruption to your source file due to network issues,
we have a 2 phased save. First we upload to a temp member and then if we
have successfully gotten the whole thing we rename the member to your
target member. And upload speeds can be slow when you are remote.

I noticed that when the Compile pushbutton is disabled, the Progress
indication was "Synchronizing resources". Once that's completed, the
Compile pushbutton become available. This is really noticeable when you're
connected remotely over the internet and not local to that system.

On Release 9.0 without service packs, has anyone ever noticed the
following:

1. Occasionally, when using the LPEX Editor in Edit mode (as opposed
to Browse mode), the Verify and Compile pushbuttons "magically" become
disabled? I always have to save my source, close it, and then open it again
in order for the Verify and Compile pushbuttons to be enabled again.

For me this can be cured by changing focus (say by clicking on the RSE
tree) and then re-selecting the source file. In some ways my biggest issue
is the opposite. If I have saved the source then the compile keyboard
shortcut won't work even if the source is selected. Key a space into the
editor and pressing Shift/Ctrl/C will save the source and then compile.

2. Always, when using the LPEX Editor in Edit mode, has anyone noticed
that when you perform a FIND, that if you press the PC Enter key to find
the next occurrence, that it does not consistently find the next
occurrence? It only consistently finds the next occurrence when you click
on NEXT instead of pressing the PC enter key.

If anyone has had these issues resolved, can you let me know what the
resolution process was?

Thank you,

Doug
