Eric, Rick S, et al:

I gotta tell you this last update did the trick. Suddenly the (keep it
updated) outline works, and the job on the iSeries doesn't run away
anymore. Fabulous. I had been not using it due to taking 6 minutes to
build, but now it seems fine and pops right up in a timely manner.

The best thing that has already saved me mucho timeo is running the iSeries
search in the background. Thanks for all the work -- even little things
like that make a huge impact on day-to-day usage.

Hi Michael,

Glad to see you are finding the new COBOL outline interesting. I was
able
to reproduce your issue with the outline only being shown for the first
Lpex view, rather than the active Lpex view. I will look into this.
Can
you open an APAR for this?

Thanks,

The changes to the COBOL outline and related functions are
interesting--a
little more robust. However if you have multiple views opened, clicking
on anything in the outline positions the first view only--not the most
recently active view. I think this was a problem with RPG that got
taken
care of with this fix pack, but it broke it for COBOL. Or am I not
remembering correctly?
