Thanks for the response, Eric. I look forward to the notice that it's available.

Thanks,

Hi Kurt,

As you say, 10/14 is not done yet! The update is in the process of becoming available. It will be today.

For the Planned Availability Date, that is for new customers getting electronic or physical media. The Installation Manager update is for existing customers.

Thanks,
Eric

It's 10/14, do you know where your 8.0.3 is?

I picked up an IBM Installation Manager update, but not seeing any RDp
updates. Am really looking forward to this one. I do understand that
sometimes things get delayed, and also that 10/14 has not passed us by yet.
But I've been looking forward to this like X-mas.

However, I can't say I fully understand the Planned Availability Date wording.
"Passport Advantage(r) October 14, 2011: Electronic and physical availability"
"Advanced Adminstration System (AAS) October 21, 2011"

Which of those does IBM Installation Manager fall under? I know that's electronic, however I wasn't sure if it was Passport Advantage or not.

Looks like a new release of RDP will be available on October 14th.

Enhancements of note (at least to me) ...

. Support for 64-bit desktop operating systems (in 32bit compatibility mode).
. Secure connection to IBM i development platforms . New licensing option (Fixed-term licenses options are now available)
