David,

I select and copy the pc file within RSE - Local Files - D drive , and then
go to Objects Subsystem - User libraries - QGPL and then paste. Nothing
special.

-Arco

Yes I am 100 % sure of that. RSE takes care of the whole process. I am
using
RDP 7.5, maybe that is the difference?

Are you using the Objects subsystem?

I just launched RDP 7.5 and cannot copy objects (including save files) in a
library to or from my PC using the Objects subsystem.

Which makes sense ... since the objects don't have any PC analog, there
would be no way for RSE to know how to copy the objects.

Copying a file from a PC to the i requires a lot of information that RSE
doesn't have and the PC file doesn't provide (record length, file type,
member information, etc).

Can you explain how you are doing the copy?

david
