The H in column 6 is the key. Bummer. What I am trying to do is put the module skeleton in a template and then include it using content assist. I don't think this will work if I have to type something in column 6 first.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Content assist for RPG

I tested my WDSc 7.0 with a new RPGLE source member. With one blank line in the source file I put an 'H' in column 6 and pressed CTL + SPACE and was able to start typing OPTION. Content assist worked just fine. Refreshing the outline should have nothing to do with commands.

Is your CTRL + SPACE set as a user key function? That would prevent any use of CTRL + SPACE as content assist. You can check this at
Window>Preferences - LPEX Editor > User Key Actions. Look for
something in the list that would be c+space. I could not get content assist to fail, even when a user key action withe CTRL+SPACE was set as an action.

Do you have the option in the Edit drop down menu for Content assist?
