Want a real shocker? IBM should REMOVE SEU from the iSeries altogether.
That would turn a few heads. IBM's biggest problem is that everything
about the iSeries points to old green screen. They should have abandoned
it years ago and made the interface more windows like or GUI like. With
Operations Navigator, WDSC, etc. We can manage the iSeries without ever
going to green screen which makes the machine look antiquated. Force the
users/developers to go with the flow and modernize. I'm going out on a
limb here with this statement but I've always been an advocate of move
forward or die. Don't want to learn, don't want to change, then get out
of the way of those that do want progress. That wasn't directed to anyone
on this list either...
