Hmm... I wonder if it is conflicting with the base WDSC or another plugin
you have installed. I don't install many additional plugins into WDSC for
this exact reason, though I DID install the hex viewer in WDSC without
incident.
Thanks for the note for others. Really quite the bummer that things like
this are always happening (i.e. one plugin breaking another).

I'm getting "org.osgi.framework.BundleException: The activator
org.eclipse.ui.internal.WorkbenchPlugin for bundle org.eclipse.ui.workbench
is invalid" in a uniquely numbered log file in the configuration directory.
