I use message queue monitoring within WDSC, so that I get the completion 
message from the submitted compile.

In combination with a user defined compile program that has /* *EVENTF 
SRCMBR(&N) */ in the command string, it also pops up the error list (which 
is hopefully empty).

Get some kind of feedback when the compiler finishes successfully.

Using Software Landing Plugins gives me the completion message of the 
compile from the iSeries.
In combination with the the Error List view that works fine for me.
