Thanks...I think I know what one of those "unpredictable results" is.  ;-)

I expect to get a new laptop sometime early next year, so I guess this isn't
a major problem...just an interesting annoyance.  As long as I don't want or
need any other plugins or updates to existing ones (like the SoftLanding
ones), it shouldn't be an issue.  It's functional in every other respect.

As a side note, I posted about issues reinstalling WDSc to get the EGL
components and problems encountered.  After my third uninstall/reinstall, I
now have the EGL components and all plugins working, including the Arcad CMS
plugins.  It seems I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque when installing the
Arcad plugins.  Once I saw the error of my ways, everything started working.
But that was a very painful month.  Thanks again to all who offered
suggestions...
