1. As previously mentioned, when you create a filter, there is a checkbox
that you can check to indicate whether or not you want to create the filter
only in the specified connection

Stupidly, I checked that check box because I didn't read all the help. I thought... well, I thought it was related to the physical machine. i.e. my test machine as opposed to my production machine (which has the same libraries.)

Is there any way to uncheck that box, or do I start all over again?

For a bit of background, I'm normally comfortable manipulating the registry or .ini files directly, and I have a... tendency to become frustrated at the hand holding a GUI does for me. Every GUI. Alas, my favourite development environment is still the command line! (But I'm trying, really I am!) I tried to copy a filter, thinking I'd have the opportunity to change the settings there but no gold. I looked at the XMI files in C:....RemoteSystemsConnections\buck\Filters\ibm.files400\FilterPool_Buck Filter Pool for connection commdev1 but didn't see any reference to private for connexion.
