I have attempted to find the outline view so I can add 
it back to my "perspective". I can see it on other 
perspectives, but can't find it for mine. I go into 
Window/View, and there doesn't seem to be anything
related to "outline".


You can go to Window-Reset Perspective to return a perspective to it 
original setting, and get the views back that way.
