Last night, I installed WDSCi 6.0 which I finally received after waiting
weeks for it. Decided to immediately update it via the Rational Product
Updater (and remember being warned that it was a huge update and that I
might want to download a zip file to do the updating). Well, I had to
cancel the update when it was time to go to work this morning (this is my
work laptop). When I got to work I tried the Updater again, clicked on
"Find Updates", but am getting:
Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Product Updater 6.0.0.4:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/updater/60/update/site.xml
Invalid update site url for IBM Rational Web Developer:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/rationalsdp/rwd/60/update
Invalid update site url for IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for
iSeries:
http://www3.software.ibm.com/ibmdl/pub/software/websphere/iseries/wdsc600/update

FWIW, at work, I am behind a proxy server. I don't see anything in the
Rational config or setup to specify a proxy server. Could this be what is
causing those "Invalid update site url" errors?

At this point, can I still download the zip file, if I can find it, and
update everything from that?

TIA,
Dan
