You cannot fire up any command that requires a 5250 session - EDTLIBL 
does.  CHGLIBL does not.  Can you do EDTLIBL in a batch program?  No. Same 
difference.  WDSC is not just a guified version of 5250 emulation.

Another way to change your library list.  Over on the left expand your i5, 
then expand iSeries Objects, about 4 down you will see library list. Right 
click on that and modify to your hearts content.  You can also define 
multiple connections, each with a different library list.  Useful for when 
doing maintenance on multiple applications.  Hard to do that with one 
session in 5250 without constantly changing your library list.  Think of 
it in reverse.  Suppose you actually liked 5250.  Then someone from WDSC 
tried to use 5250 to edit multiple applications at a time.  How would you 
explain how to use 5250  to them?  CHGLIBL this and CHGLIBL that?
