Upgrading WAS 5.1.2 to 6.0 on iSeries

Hello,

 

On our iSeries 520 V5R3M0 CUMs as of 2005-11 we are running Websphere
Application Server Express 5.12.  I have sitting here the 6.0 Websphere
Application Server Express.  I would like to upgrade the iSeries and my XP
client software to version 6.0.  Currently on our iSeries we have no
applications to migrate because so far I have just been using the Client
software to do some RPG and DDS coding.  

 

In the 6.0 package and there was no printed material on where to start
reading and I didn't really get a chance yet to dig into the CDs yet.  My
question that I have is should I uninstall WAS on the iSeries and XP machine
or will the 6.0 upgrade everything cleaning if left in place?  Like I stated
before I have no WAS apps to migrate at this point.
