Hi Peter,

Could you please check if there is any job named QB5SERVER running under
your user profile? If there is not active job of this name, could you
please check your spool files to see if any of them related to that job.
If yes, please send me the job log or spool file content.

Thanks,

Xuan,

I'm on Version: 6.0.1 Build id: 20050725_1800.

The updater doesn't show any available updates, so I guess I'm OK at the
client side.

The iSeries is at V5R3.

Hi group,

I've been having problems when trying to debug an RPGLE program WDSCi.

When in the debug perspective, I get a communications error (316) and
cannot continue.

I saw in the archives that this error should have been solved by PTF
SI18282, but we have this permanently installed and still I get the error.

Verify connection shows that option 60 for 5722WDS is not installed, and
some PTF's under that. Do I need this in order to debug?

Additionally, it says "Host PTF missing. The requested function is not
available." under both "Checking callback to debug daemon" and "Checking
callback to RSE daemon".

But it doesn't say which function needs to be installed.

Any help would be highly appreciated (I hate having to go back to 5250 to
debug, especially since our GUI programs run in batch).

Thanks in advance,

Peter Colpaert
