Cool.

So I would then have the choice of running the lite version when I'm
only doing native development, but could run the full version if I find
the need.

What about this "refresh pack" thing ? Can I do a full install of 6.0.1
when it comes out, or do I need to install 6.0, then apply this "refresh
pack" ?

|The way it works is that you first run a normal full install of WDSC.
They
|then have a process you can run locally that makes a second copy of
WDSC
|that only contains the pieces needed to do native iSeries development

|RSE, LPEX etc... So, in terms of disk space, you actually have more
|installed then before, but in terms of running the application it
should
|run and start faster and require a lot less memory.
|
|They have said in a future release they will have the install process
let
|you pick the pieces you want so that you do not have to do the second
|step.
